When people ask about me and what I do, one of the first things I tell them is that I’ve had a lifelong passion for learning. My business is more than that-- it’s also what I believe I’m here on this earth to do. Helping people and businesses grow and achieve success is an incredibly satisfying experience, and I’m thankful I get to make that happen on a daily basis.

My Philosophy

I have a simple philosophy when it comes to teaching -- people are good! It’s easy to get caught up in negative thinking, convincing ourselves that people are selfish or lazy. On a daily basis, I remind myself that this simply isn’t true. People want to succeed! People want to be the best they can be. People want to give the world the best they have. However, people also need support and education-- they need to find the right motivation, develop the right skills, and be told that they are valuable.

When you adopt this mindset-- and truly live it-- there’s no limit to a person’s potential. As a teacher, believing in other people means that they are practically guaranteed to succeed. This is my secret to success-- my programs succeed because I believe in the participants and believe in their potential.

My Story

Although I always wanted to be a teacher, it wasn’t until I was in my mid-20s that I discovered training and facilitation. When I was twenty six years old, I was working at a small business selling TVs and appliances in Albuquerque, NM. I had worked there for about a year as a sales associate when I was offered a position as a sales manager. In one of my first positions of leadership, I was motivated to be the leader that I would want as an employee– someone who encouraged and believed in their staff, pushing them to be the best they could be with positive energy. As a new manager, I was driven to bring out the best in our store.

It worked even better than I expected! Through believing in my team and a dedication to watching them grow, we increased sales beyond our expectations within seven months. I discovered that training and helping other people achieve their full potential was one of my greatest passions in life. It proved to be an invaluable experience, as it made me realize that I wanted to devote my career to training and facilitation.

For several years, I worked in a variety of fields while I honed my skills in facilitation, sales, training, program development, keynote speaking and more. For many years, I was traveling around the country for five-days a week doing programs. Since 1998, I have worked full-time offering my services for training and development. Truthfully, I couldn’t be happier with what I do for a living. OR as my Dad used to say, DO what you love and you won't work a day in your life!

This, combined with my God given family and I feel so fulfilled!
